YES!!! I'm on That Craft Place DT and blog candy!

Good morning blogland, what a wonderful day, no it's not sunny, yes I am at work, no I haven't won the lottery, but quite the next best thing... I have been chosen to be on That Craft Place design team... wooooo hooooo, very excited, I can't wait to get started and share my passion and craftiness (is there such a word?) with the lovely people who are part of this crazy crafty world!  Well we all have to be a bit crazy sometimes, don't we?

To celebrate I am giving away some blog candy,  I haven't done this before,  so the rules are you need to be a follower, and leave a comment,  the winner will be picked at random next Thursday morning 7th March at 9am.  The candy will an Indigo Blu stamp called "Sunflower" worth £8.99!!!

I hope you will join me and the new DT at the next challenge. Keep your eye on the blog and don't forget to look into Lisa's fab shop to see the exciting range of products she sells.  AND it's a real shop too if ever you are near Eastbourne!  Wish me luck xxx

Bags bags and more bags

Now here hangs a tale. These were made for my Mum, 2 daughters and Grand daughter, to take to Ally Pally for a show, I couldn't go..sob sob, anyway these were made for their packed lunches, and may, just may be featured in a very well known stamping magazine later this year. The images have been printed onto TAP (transfer artist paper) coloured with my copic pens and then ironed onto plain white cotton,  I kinda used the bag as if I was making a card, and these are the end results. I hope you like them.

For my Grand daughter Lily who is learning Ballet.

For my youngest daughter Abeygale who has just had a baby boy!

For my eldest daughter Adrienne who makes cupcakes.

For my Mum who likes anything to do with Indians, especially dream catchers!

Hope you like my bags, and thank you for stopping by xxxx

Sunrise Sunset

What a cute little image from Kim Mcfarlane at Cuddly Buddly, I couldn't resist these 2 little mice, ssooooo cute!  I love these papers too, from Cart-Us, called Sweet, they are only 6x6 and as I usually use an 8x8 card they always give me a challenge as to how to use them on a large card. This time I used ribbon and embellishments to cover the joins, and also prettying up the edges with a Nellie Snellen die. I think it works ok. This time I haven't decorated the inside, I usually do now, as they look so plain otherwise,  but I'll do it later, promise! Please visit CB to see all their crafty goodies.

Thank you so very much for passing by...xxxxx

Happy Birthday Amanda

There are times when you have just the right digi,  I love swoopy nurse from Mayzy Art, I actually love all the swoopy designs,  but they need to be made for something specific.. well my lovely lovely niece Amanda will be 32 on Thursday and she is an Occupational Therapist, she is so good with her patients and she is trying to be crafty just like her Auntie Liz!  So this little cutie is right up her street, blimey I hope she likes it,  I have to say she is a size 8, and this little cutie is .... well.... curvy!

Coloured with copics,  the papers are BoBunny and Marianne designs. Die cuts using the new spellbinders, (wish I had more!) and as my beautiful eldest daughter bought me another load of copic pens they are the new colours used on her trousers.. loving that colour.

Thank you so very much for stopping by, and welcome to my new follower. Big hugs xxx

And a little bit of sunshine please

Well with the bulbs in the garden flowering I could be fooled into thinking it might get warmer soon, with that in mind I think this is a very appropriate card!  My eldest is currently flying home from a 3 week cruise in the Far East, with temperatures at around 36deg, she facetimed me this morning very upset that she is coming to the end of her holiday,  she is very sad... I'm not!  Wretched child, she looks so brown... and me a tasty pasty shade of pale grey!!! hey ho, well the Motorhome is out of storage so hopefully my legs might also be very soon too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This little cutie is from Cuddly Buddly, brand new today (I hope!).. enjoy the sunshine xx

Break dancer Lily

So my beautiful Granddaughter Lily is learning ballet, but secretly I think she might like to be a break dancer, she loves blue and has an older brother,  so she is a bit of a tomboy!  I have made this for her room, I hope she likes it!  But keeps up the ballet!!

I have used the wonderful digi stamp from Mayzy Art, called Break Dance.. lol,  you can find her HERE . She is my DT design for this weeks challenge Music.

Jessica

Good morning all.  This little beauty is the double of my partners Grand daughter, I couldn't resist colouring her in!  She is a beautiful digi from Mayzy Art, take a look at her website, it's fabulous!

Thanks for stopping by, I will be entering her into some challenges, but as there is no time whatsoever today I shall do that little task tomorrow! xx

3 new designs from Christine Grove

Good morning Blogland, it feels like ages since I have published anything,  I have been so busy, at work, at home (Granchildren!) and seeing the relatives... I am quite desperate for quiet time to colour in and generally mess up the craft room.... ok well mess it up even more!  Do you keep a clean craft area?  I'm going to take a pic tomorrow as a before and after! Do I dare??

Anyway as DT member for Cuddly Buddly I was asked to put together 3 designs for the new Christine Grove stamps,  I actually love her stuff... it's quirky, just up my street, matches my personality some might say! Anyway these cards for me are quite plain and simple... but just right for someone who doesn't like a lot of fuss.

Thanks for visiting,  all the items above were made using Cuddly Buddly stuff, which you can find in their shop. Enjoy! xx

So she has bright pink shiny boots and a matching hat,  the sort of thing I wish I could wear but daren't, maybe when I am 75 or something, and people might think I am just a mad old bat! lol

DT work for my work!

Hi guys,  I was set a challenge by my Manager to make something out of a wooden heart and a decopatch frame,  these are the results. My only thought is that the butterfly is too big,  but as they are going to be displayed in the shop to give our lovely customers ideas I figured I would leave it.  But I like how they turned out. Forgive the state of the background, 'im indoors is sorting me out a new photo studio,  this is the trial run..... not bad, but needs improvement ! lol Bless him xx

Thanks for stopping by, have a lovely crafty day!  I will, I'm at work! xx

Entered into marianne design divas

She's a star

Good morning from snowy Suffolk,  yes we still have snow,  about 3 inches or so last night,  but we are good, we've already swept our pathways, on account our Postman slipped over last year, and I must have my parcels!  Seriously he hurt his hip, so now we clear and salt the path.  Anyway I got a lovely parcel today, 100 sheets of the bestest card for colouring in on. Oh yes indeedy! Anyway, this little star is a freebie from Mayzy Art,  the bag was too,  so this all in all cost about 50p !  I shall pass this onto my beautiful Granddaughter who is of course a star!

Thanks for stopping by xxxxxxx

Valentine Mouse

Such a little cutie from Cuddly Buddly... As usual I was going for pale colours!  Why is that they always come out bright and zingy,  I quite like it in the end, ONE day I shall do a pastel coloured creation... yer right! lol   He is so cute though... I might have to give this to myself, as 'im indoors said we weren't doing Valentine's this year...boo boo, I'm sure he doesn't mean it (yes he does),  but as I am already spoilt rotten I forgive him! (nearly)

The flowers, leaves and sentiment were stamped with Copics, pen to stamp, blender sprayed onto card, stamp placed on card, an interesting technique which Wendy Kadzidlo taught me recently.

Coloured with Copics, and used the blender pen to create fur.

Thanks for stopping by..... I might even enter him into a challenge or two, he deserves it! lol xxx

Allsorts challenge - flower power
7 kids challenge - something old something new
