A few more of my cards, mostly all sold now.

A banner for Aoife, a beautiful Irish name for a new baby girl

Our old next door neighbour had a new baby last week, I bumped into the new daddy at the Post Office this morning.  I couldn't resist making this for his new baby girl, with such a wonderful Irish name it seemed a shame not to!  My fab Cricut did all the hard work.

Lightening McQueen and Mater

I found this old canvas, and it was crying out for a fab picture.  So my Grandson Jayden is the lucky recipient.. I hope he likes it.  I used Pro markers to colour some of the card, it is easier than buying loads of coloured card, a 12" x 12" white card on the Cricut is sometimes a time saver, and you can get so many different effects with the promarkers.  I think it turned out ok, now I must do him a vinyl car for his bedroom window.  Lily my Granddaughter is going to be the lucky girl who gets the Tinkerbell and friends cartridge. That's it no more spending. Although I've just watched Nikki Hall, and I think I have to get the CD's, I've been putting it off but it's got to happen lol   xxxxxxx

Using triple embossing, then stamping. Watercolour painting too !

I really enjoyed making this card, I love the water colouring, I did this on proper paper too!  I tried my hand at triple embossing too and then used a stamp to imprint another texture onto the button and flowers. I thought it worked quite well lol..  the Clarity stamp frame is absolutely perfect for these stamps from Polka Doodles... anyway I might miss the live show this morning, so logging off.

This folding book is a work in progress:

I am trying a different technique with each triangle segment, in the middle squares I will place photo's, so it will make a lovely keepsake. I will join together with a ribbon to hold in place, but the challenge was to use the same stamp but in 12 different ways, surprisingly easy once you get thinking !!

Lightening McQueen for the grandson

it's quite amazing how well the Cricut cuts out, I think if I cut out Mater I will use inks to give it some depth.  For Lightening though it has to be "clean" as he is the star!

today

Well what a rubbish day for crafting,  I made my grandson a Lightening McQueen car using my new cricut cartridge, I will post a pic soon, and it doesn't look too bad! Made a lovely card using triple embossing techniques,  but my camera battery went flat, then I lost the internet connection and only just got it back, so will post the pics tomorrow. Byeeee

this is so cute, might make more !

Oh yes I did it!

I have without doubt managed to pull this one off, just in the nick of time. My beloved requesting if we were ever going to have lunch, and the garage phoning to say yes the car passed it's MOT! Joy of joys, and next my new cricut cartridge requested by my Grandson,  the Pixar cars... ummm might take sometime to do...byyyeeeeee

my latest creation

I really enjoyed making this, I so love digital stamps, this one is from Cuddly Buddly, they have some super images to colour in, perfect for Motorhome holidays! This one was coloured in with Promarkers, and used Tim Holz distress inks to give it some depth. I try to use the inks as much as I can. I've done this pic also in greys, so might get to download that later.

Well this is it, I am now determined to get this blog on the road.

Well after a couple of months of thinking about it I have decided that this is it!  I blame Nikky Hall, she needs a new member of her design team, and needs a link to my blog to look at my stuff. So thats it, the gaunlet has been thrown, or something like that anyway!  I shall try now to publish some of my bits and bobs that get me going, craftily of course!!!
