Sweetie Pie

Morning crafty friends,  today I have done an inspirational post for All Dressed Up, I am using the beautiful digi image from All Dressed Up called Sweetie Pie, you can find her here, she is quite adorable...

I really love the pink, and to tone it down I also used a dark brown which is so complimentary, I used both colours and the white to frame my little sweetie pie, and finished it off with a flourish of flowers.. talking of flourishes, I used a Tattered Lace die to enhance the top of the frame, which gives rather an elegant touch. Please visit the Etsy store to find lots of lovely images ready to colour.

Thanks for stopping by - Lizzy xxx

Colour pallet challenge - TCP

Good morning all, its time for another challenge at That Craft Place,
the lovely crafty shop on the sunshine coast.
Everything used on this card isavailable from Lisa's shop!

This time the theme is Colour Pallet,
and here is the pic we all worked to:

The most gorgeous colours ever! My favourite,  the card I made using the wonderful Elspeth which is now available at Lisa's fabulous new digi shop!

Here is my card,  it looks more sky blue than duck egg blue,
but you know what happens when you try to take a good photo... rubbish pic!

I hope you take part in the challenge this time,
leave me a comment so I know you have visited.
Thanks Lizzy xxx

Our first All Dressed Up challenge & release of 2014 is here...and what a fantastic release it is.

Both our teams have joined together for this Challenge/Release, and we are also having a blog hop !

We have four new releases this month, all of which can be found over on the store
Our theme for the the challenge is "Anything Goes". A nice and easy theme to start the new year with.
Here is my design team card for this challenge.

I have used "cool dudes" which you will find here
The challenge will run until 15th February and the winner will receive 3 images of their choice from the store
Please make sure you stop by the blog to check out the rest of the talented Dressy Girls creations.

Now as I said earlier we are also having a blog hop for this challenge, two lucky winners will receive 2 images of their choice from the store, in order to be in with a chance of winning you have to visit every blog on the hop list and leave a comment by the date shown below. Two winners will be picked at Random by two of the Dressy Girls on Wednesday 22nd January . We know we have quite a few Dressy girls, so we have spread the hop over a week to give you all plenty of time to hop along.

If you have been following the hop list you have arrived here from Christine L.
Here is the hopping list so you don't get lost along the way.

Good luck on the hop and make sure you check out the blog for the winners & all the challenge details.

Tattered Lace - Florentine collection

If anyone was in any doubt about getting any more dies, please wait till after next weekend!!! These new dies from Tattered Lace are totally amazing, stunning, beautiful and so much more... I love them.. the sizes are perfect for the bigger cards, but not so big that they don't fit on a 6x6... here is one of my designs using the princess carriage, OMG I love it so much!

Truly stunning, I have made this die in various ways, embossed, glittered, paper pieced, etc etc, and I shall be demonstrating some of these techniques on Create & Craft next weekend. Yay, thanks for stopping by... Lizzy xxx

Congratulations Lisa!

Good morning my lovely friends, today is so special, ok it's the first day of 2014 that's pretty epic, but another reason to celebrate is a special challenge over at That Craft Place Facebook page, we are nearly at 2000 members! Awesome, so here is my inspirational card.

I have used an Indigo Blu stamp, Copic's direct to stamp, spraying with blender solution and stamping, quite a neat technique. All the products are available from Lisa's fabulous shop!

Thanks for stopping by, Happy New Year everyone!! Lizzy x x
