Heartfelt wishes

I just love wee stamps, they are so cute, and such fun to colour in. I think they are suitable for any age and you can make your design to suit the person. I coloured her in with Copics, my new toy!  I also used Prima papers, hand dyed cotton ribbon and the Sizzix framelets "Butterflys".

Hope you like her! Thanks for stopping by

The old thatched church

I love the perspective of this digi stamp, you automatically assume it's up a hill.. great for Christmas Cards,  or for a wedding... you can get this stamp here. but without the snowman. I coloured in with my Copic pens, and added a bit of glitter, well you just have to! The church is local to me at Icklingham in Suffolk,  my lovely OH took a pic and this is the result, ah such talent !!

A little bit of the history of this wonderful church can be seen here

Hope you like my cards, thank you for stopping by. xx

Pressie Penguin

Well my very first Christmas card... er actually the 2nd but who's counting!  My card for Cuddly Buddly, using my super duper brand new wonderful Copic pens.  I don't think my first attempt is so bad lol.... the black shading is part of the stamp, and I decided not to colour this part in.  This wonderful little chap can be found here ,  he might well be my image for Christmas cards this year.. I might scan and print this pic though to save my pens!!

Hope you like him..

Post card from Suffolk

I have just purchased some Creative Expressions stamps, having admired from a distance I thought YES it's time I jumped in!  I wanted some Christmassy stamps, and purchased " Christmas Post " as I might use these for my bulk card making challenge, sometime after the new baby has arrived!  We are all on tenderhooks for the arrival!! (Due Monday) Anyway, this time I used my WOW embossing powder to cover a circle of cardboard with a lovely white layer,  then my clear embossing powder to give some depth,  I did about 4 layers.

Then with the staz on inkpad made the beautiful scenic impression while still warm.  I then gave it a bit of a thumping to make it crackle!! Well I wasn't being too hard on it... I used the lovely Post Card stamp and versamark, again using my white WOW embossing powder,  and also used it around the edge of the pretty layer.  This layer was cut with my Cricut. I made my own washi tape, colouring with Promarkers (all my Copics come on Monday, OMG! watch out for soooooo much colouring in!!! I hope the baby has arrived or is late!  See above note about due date : ) ) and stamped the seasons greetings stamp randomly with distress inks.

The whole lot was mounted onto a black card base...

Well what do you think?

Thanks to my Mum I have some wonderful vintage cotton lace,  I couldn't bear to colour it,  so it's as is.

Sebastian snowman

Yes yes I know it's August, but it is my first Christmas card this year, so I figure I'm allowed an early one !!  What a little cutie, digi stamp can be ordered here , coloured with my Prisma Pencils. I have used some Nellies multi frames for the border, I used some homemade washi tape. so simple its mad! I am going to do a little tutorial on that soon. A few buttons and bling and hey presto a lovely little Christmas card, well its actually A5.  And another thing,  I called this snowman Sebastian about 2 years ago, now my lovely daughter who is expecting her third, is going to call her new little man Sebastian ! Bloomin cheek, mind you my new little Grandson will always remind me of my snowman,  and he's due on Monday, probably going to be super hot!!!  Wierd !
