Doodle Owl

Good morning crafty pals,  this is another entry for the DT for That Craft Place, the theme is animals, and well I know an Owl is a bird however I think that comes under the heading of animals, I think!!  Anyway this chap is from Papermania, the original stamp is not quite as detailed, but I thought I might just doodle a bit more, and if you compare the "clean" stamp to this finished one it is quite different.  I won't say the Zen word, but it looks a bit like that!!

All the papers, stamp, ribbon, die(branch) and candy is available from That Craft Place.  Thank you for stopping by xx

Nellie - well it just had to be!

This is my DT entry for That Craft Place, "animals".

Ok so this took me sometime to do, in fact this is version 2!  I tried some new techniques(for me) on both elephants but I liked this one best.  I used stazon ink direct to tissue (kleenex type) and used as decopatch. I used the Urban stamps from Papermania of ladybirds and dragonflies. I also used guilding flakes on die cut spellbinder dies and butterflies too. There is a touch of gold acrylic paint, embossing and finished off with mod podge. Lots of things going on with this elephant!!!!  Anyway I am fairly happy with how he turned out (why he???) and he will sit in my sitting room for a bit.

This next pic shows the top, a much better picture to show off the flowers, "saddle" and butterflies.

Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate it, xxxx.

Sparkle Fairy

Don't you just love Mayzy Art images,  they are too cute, and this little fairy called Meri is one of the best, actually they are all the best!! I coloured her in with Copics and put loads of glitter on her wings and things,  she is decorated with some beautiful little die cuts from Cheery Lynn, (thanks Susan) called tiny things with wings,  so cute!  I have also used a new spellbinder die, and a new Crafts Too vine die,  too many new things me thinks!  Whoops! perhaps the fairy needs to wave her wand over my bank balance before 'im indoors takes a look!!!  Anyway here she is as my DT entry for Mayzy Art. Thanks for stopping by xx

Big crafty hugs from Sunny Suffolk,  Oh and a very very happy Easter to you all !!!!!!!!!! xx

Isobel

Such a pretty little princess, Isobel is one of the stamps from Crafters Companion, a challenge for me as I put together a 6x6 card, I'm so used to using 8x8 cards now, but I wanted the image to be the focal point this time and not the embellishments, yer like that worked !!

Thank you for stopping by xxxx

Happy days

I think we could all do with some happy days right now!  We are all suffering with the snow, not nice, and I really think someone needs to have a word!  I have just completed a lovely card for Cuddly Buddly using a Lilyboo image called "My special place" , it's so cute and filled with spring flowers, just the ticket..

I forgot to photo the inside, which as you all know I now decorate too, hey ho, its only taken me about 5 hours to upload this image, our internet in Sunny Suffolk is definitely needing a sharp word!  I hope you enjoy my little card. Big crafty snowy hugs from me. xxx

George and his train

This is the card I made yesterday at Sir Stampalot with the lovely Clare Rowland (Molly Blooms),  it shows George ( based on her son) and his train, it was a super morning, she is so inspirational and showed many items she had made, some of which have been featured in her magazine which was published just before Christmas. I also met some wonderful ladies, coffee, chocolate and crafting, what could be better !

Thanks for stopping by xxxx

Wedding day

I'm a right old romantic when allowed, so this lovely Indigo Blu stamp (my favourite) just cried out to be soft pinks and blues.. and a bit vintage looking. This is my card for the DT for That Craft Place, the theme of course is Wedding. Nearly all the products used for this card are from the shop, and the lovely Lisa helped me by selecting some of the bits and bobs.

I like how the card turned out, and I hope you do too.  I've even done a bit of shrink plastic, how brave was that!

Thank you for stopping by, please leave a comment, it would be so great to hear from you! I am entering this into these challenges:

Loti with her bear

Good morning bloggers!  Well it's time for another challenge over at Mayzy Art, and this week it's animal prints... and if you look closely you will see the background from Raspberry Road is indeed animal prints, possibly made by Loti's bear.. such a naughty chap leaving his prints around!  What a super little lady she is and such a joy to colour in because the pleating of her frock, perfect for my Copic pens!

Today when this is published I will be enjoying a class with Clare Rowland of Molly Blooms, oh my word I am excited!

This pic shows the inside and a close up of the sentiment/background. Hope you like her and thank you so much for being my followers! xxx

A Spring card

Good morning peeps,  a little card made for Cuddly Buddly using Kims digi stamps, perfect for a new home card me thinks. I put the digi's into Serif to take out the background so I could layer them up... the digis are of a windmill and a little tree, but careful manipulation and hey presto a little forest! Coloured with copics and using various paper packs all available from CB.

I haven't cropped this, mainly because I am feeling lazy,  oh and the inside has been done too.  Thanks for stopping by xx

Cupcake Queen!

Yes more cake please!  I love this little stamp from Saturated Canary, she is the main image for my first DT sample for That Craft Place,  you can get her there, and the paper pad too, which is First Edition Blank Canvas,  lovely pretty colours,  and some pink in it!  I thought a nice little bag ready for any contributions would be lovely... still waiting though!

The pic shows a close up of the lovely Party Hardy. I might enter a few challenges with this one,  so pretty in pink!

You're a star

Good morning blogland, here is this fortnights DT challenge card for Mayzy Art, the theme is "Stars", this is for my hairdresser who transforms my very thick very straight very bleached hair into something I can live with for another 6 weeks... I think she might like it! My daughter used to do my hair, she is qualified, but moaned every time because it took too long! Bloomin kid!  I obviously didn't drag her up properly...lol Anway here she is  Swoopy Celia which can of course can be found at Mayzy Art, she is part of a collection.

Coloured in with Copics, I used my new Spellbinder dies to create some fancy edges, I am so into cutting them up!  The background paper was a freebie from a magazine a couple of years ago...and the little pic is of the inside.

I hope you like her, and thank you so much for stopping by. xx
